Kid Story uses the absolute minimum number of cookies needed to run the product. We do not use advertising, analytics, or social-media tracking cookies, so you will not see a cookie consent banner: there is nothing to opt out of.

Strictly Necessary Cookies

• sn_session — an HttpOnly login-session token (opaque random value; contains no personal data itself). It keeps you signed in for up to 30 days and is deleted when you log out or when it expires. Legal basis: strictly necessary for the service you requested (ePrivacy "essential cookie" / Art. 5(3) ePD exemption, GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).

Local Browser Storage (not cookies)

• Interface preferences (e.g., your chosen UI language) and an in-progress book wizard draft may be stored in your browser's localStorage. This data never leaves your device except as part of saving a book to your account, and it is cleared when you log out or in as another user.

Managing Cookies
