Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Kid Story (the "Service"), an AI-assisted children's picture book generator. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of a child, you confirm that you are the child's parent or legal guardian and accept these Terms on their behalf.

1. Eligibility and Accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. The Service is intended for use by adults (parents, guardians, and educators) creating content for children.
• You are responsible for the confidentiality of your password and for all activity under your account.
• You must provide a valid email address. We do not send marketing emails; we only use your email for essential account communication.

2. Your Content

• You retain all ownership rights in the text, photographs (including toy photos), and story ideas you submit ("User Content").
• Illustrations, stories, and character sheets generated by the Service from your inputs are provided to you for personal, non-commercial use unless we agree otherwise in writing.
• You are solely responsible for your User Content. You agree not to upload content that is unlawful, infringing, or that contains images of children's real faces. The Service is designed to process photos of inanimate toys and illustrations only.

3. Acceptable Use

• Do not attempt to access another user's account, books, or files.
• Do not scrape, reverse engineer, or resell the Service or its generated output as a competing product.
• Do not use the Service to generate content that is harmful, hateful, sexually explicit, or otherwise inappropriate for a children's product.

4. Availability and Changes

We aim to keep the Service available, but we may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of it at any time. Where feasible, we will give advance notice of material changes that affect your stored books.

5. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. AI-generated stories and illustrations may contain inaccuracies; you should review content before sharing it with children. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kid Story shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law, including in the European Union and the United Kingdom.

6. Termination

You may delete your account and content at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

7. Governing Law and Contact
